Our Human Resources Policies

  • Employee Relations and Work Environment: Er-Bakır is committed to treating all employees equally and fairly. Discrimination, harassment, and all forms of unfair treatment are strictly prohibited. Our company promotes diversity and inclusion and places great importance on maintaining a positive work environment.

  • Recruitment and Termination Policy :Er-Bakır selects candidates solely based on job requirements during the recruitment process, offering equal opportunities to all applicants. In cases of termination, fair and legal procedures are rigorously followed.

  • Compensation and Benefits :Er-Bakır provides its employees with a competitive compensation and benefits package. To support a healthy work-life balance, flexible working arrangements and additional benefits are offered. These policies are continuously updated based on employee feedback. Additionally, through our "Employee Support Program," we regularly provide psychosocial support to our employees and their families.

  • Training and Development :Er-Bakır offers a variety of training and development opportunities to enhance employees' skills and advance their careers. Every employee is considered a talent, and our primary goal is to ensure an ideal employee experience by attracting, retaining, nurturing, and supporting sustainable development of these talents.

  • Employee Health and Safety: Er-Bakır prioritizes employee health and safety above all else. This commitment, viewed as a non-negotiable prerequisite, extends to our employees and their families. The company organizes regular safety training and takes all necessary precautions to ensure workplace safety. Emergency plans and procedures are developed, and employees are thoroughly informed about them.

  • Business Ethics and Professionalism: Er-Bakır expects its employees to adhere to high standards of business ethics and professionalism. Ethical behavior guidelines are clearly defined, and regular training is provided to ensure compliance.

Education

Our training programs are recommended by the Human Resources Department, employees, or their supervisors based on performance evaluation results.

Trainings aimed at addressing competency gaps are identified through Development Center practices. These programs are selected from the training catalog and are planned in two periods annually.

Our training programs are categorized into internal and external trainings. Trainers may be sourced both internally and externally. Externally provided trainings are conducted through domestic or international training and consultancy firms. Additionally, e-learning platforms are utilized to meet our training needs.

Work Conditions

All operators and shift supervisors on the production lines, as well as our cleaning and cafeteria staff, work in shifts.

Shift work at Er-Bakır, 6 days a week
07:30 – 15.30
15.30 – 23.30
It is between 23.30 – 07.30.

Our other employees work between 08:30 and 18:30, 5 days a week.

Annual performance evaluation meetings of white-collar employees are determined based on both one-on-one interviews and the results of simulations and interviews held in the "Development Center". The information obtained after performance evaluation interviews is used in determining personal development training and career development.

Facilities

Our wage increase is made once a year at the beginning of the calendar year. MERCER wage management systems are applied for our White-Collar employees and MİDS wage management systems are applied for our Blue-Collar employees in wage increases.

In our organization, employees are provided with various additional benefits, with the minimum legal requirements. The amount and variety of financial and in-kind opportunities we provide are reviewed every year and arranged according to the conditions of the day, and announced to all our employees through e-media, boards, speeches, etc.

In addition, the necessary environment is provided for the personal development of our employees (For example; trainings for individual development, participation in conferences, support for participation in foreign language development programs, master's degree, doctorate, etc.).
 

Human Rights and Equality at Work

At Er-Bakır, we work with the principle of "giving importance to equal opportunities, respecting differences and ethical values" in all Human Resources processes and practices. We believe that diversity and multiculturalism enrich our organization, and we value differences. Our employees' age, gender, belief, ethnicity or other personal characteristics that can be considered as discrimination are not the determining factors in our HR processes. We adopt the understanding of equal pay and equal rights for equal work, and we do not allow any discriminatory practices within our operations.

As part of our understanding of human rights, we do not allow practices such as forced and compulsory labor or child labor within the scope of our activities. We expect our suppliers and business partners to adopt a similar approach to human rights and to act in accordance with our principles within their operations. For this reason, we guarantee compliance in this regard by specifying our working principles in the service and investment agreements we make with our suppliers and business partners.
