OUR MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS POLICIES

Er-Bakir Conflict Minerals Supply Policy

“Conflict Minerals” (aka 3TG) sourced from DR Congo and neighboring countries are sometimes mined by armed groups and sold “to finance extremely violent conflicts.” Some of these minerals and the metals produced from them (such as tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold) can enter the supply chains of products used worldwide.

As a requirement of Er-Bakır's understanding of corporate responsibility and its commitment to respect human rights both in its own operations and in the global supply chain, our goal is to supply and use the Tin material we use in our products (the only one we use among Conflict Minerals) from sources outside Conflict countries.

As Er-Bakır, we expect our suppliers to have policies in place to ensure that the products and components they supply to us do not contain DRC conflict minerals. CMRT is part of the Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative (CFSI).

As Er-Bakir, to support this policy;

  • We will continue our work within the scope of CMRT,

  • We will inform our suppliers about our Conflict Minerals Supply Policy and encourage them to comply with it,

  • We will provide due diligence information to verify that materials in our supply chain do not contain conflict minerals,

  • We will collaborate with our suppliers and customers to enable products that do not contain DRC conflict minerals.
